The Ripple Effect Starts at Home
One mistake can break trust or build a better human. I choose the latter.
I’m not the kind of mom who lets things slide.
I don’t brush off bad behavior, ignore accountability, or make excuses when my kids mess up.
I don’t follow what my friends are doing just to keep the peace.
And I sure as hell don’t choose the easy way out just to avoid an attitude.
I’m what they call a “mean mom.”
And I wear that title with pride.
In this house, when we mess up, we own it.
We take the consequences.
We write apology letters and read them out loud to the people we’ve hurt.
Because one mistake doesn’t just disappear.
It ripples.
But that same mistake can also be the turning point, the moment we grow, change, and become better humans.
Kids will mess up. That’s life.
But how we parent after the mess?
That’s what makes the difference.
You are, hands down, the best parent for your children.
